Early Intervention

Early Intervention Supports for Early Childhood Supports – younger than 9

  • Play-based, strengths-focused support to build communication, independence and social skills

  • Support delivered across home, community and early learning environments

  • Led by Amy, a qualified teacher with experience in mainstream & special education, using a “first FUN, then learning” approach

Capacity

Building

Development of daily living skills & Increased social and community participation

  • Life skills training including routines, personal care, community access and independence building

  • Support with public transport training and navigating everyday environments

  • Skills developed at your child’s pace, focused on confidence, choice and capability

  • Mentoring and skill-building to support meaningful participation in the community

  • Support with appointments, shopping, social activities and staying connected

  • Building independence, social confidence and real-life skills in a supportive way

Our Team

Our team is made up of experienced, passionate, and friendly support workers who are dedicated to making a positive difference every day. We take pride in creating meaningful connections and ensuring each client feels supported, respected, and empowered.

Our staff are trained and confident supporting children with a diverse range of needs.

All staff at Soar Together have completed the following: 

  • First Aid

  • Manual Handling (including using hoists, pushing manual/electric wheelchairs) 

  • Positive behaviour support 

  • PEG feeding 

  • Epilepsy management

  • Personal care 

  • Accessible Communication (non verbal, assistive technology, basic Auslan) 

  • A-Z accessibility support worker training completed with Soar Together ​
