A Birthday Message to Parents

Today marks one year of Soar Together — one year of you choosing me to support your child and

your family. Thank you for trusting me, welcoming me into your world, and allowing me to walk alongside you. It is an honour I will never take for granted.

Being a parent of a child with a disability comes with unique challenges, moments of uncertainty, and times where it can feel overwhelming or isolating. I want you to know this: you are not alone. My goal has always been, and will continue to be, to lighten that load, amplify your child’s joy, and ensure our 1:1 support shifts are the highlight of their week.

Today, we celebrate you— every milestone, every hard day you got through, and every win (big or small) that your child achieved this year. Whatever your journey has looked like, you made it through another year, and that deserves recognition. You are the greatest asset in your child’s life. Your wellbeing is essential — not an afterthought, not something you do “if you get time,” but a non-negotiable part of caring for your family.

Please give yourself permission to rest, recharge, and be cared for. I am here to support you in creating that space.

I am endlessly grateful for every family I work with. Soar Together exists because of your belief, your encouragement, and your trust. You have helped me live my dream — and this is only the beginning.

Looking ahead, I’m excited to continue growing and supporting you in new ways:

• New regulation resource packs & products to purchase online
• The launch of our “Accessible AF (Accessible and Fun!)” T-shirt range
• And potentially a podcast filled with practical skills and strategies to help our incredible little rascals thrive.
